    Amy, this is unbelievebable! If my dogs had been there, they would NEVER have obeyed me. Kind of my worst fear - also because my understanding is that if the snake was actually rattling, it was in pre-strike mode? Or at least warning you. He looks pretty sleepy and mellow here, though, so who knows? Bottom line, from a dog person to another dog person, I'm psyched that your dogs listen to your "I'm not kidding" voice.
