We're getting a new puppy next Tuesday. I went and chose him from his litter today. We're going to call him Brooks, after the mountain range in Alaska.
Here are some photos from our first meeting:
See him doing all the things puppies do, especially chewing!
And I'll properly attribute the title quote to Charles M. Schulz.
Congrats on the new pup. I encourage folks to adopt homeless dogs as well.
I saw a sad situation over the weekend in Ohio. A dog with two puppies was on the bike path in a SE Ohio area and she was homeless. The pups were about two months old. She was starving.
I wish more folks would adopt homeless dogs as well. There is joy in knowing you saved a life and they bring as much or more joy than those in pet stores or breeders.
